The story of the mobile age began in 2001.
What started as a small distribution activity in Riyadh grew, device by device and shelf by shelf, into a Saudi simplified joint-stock company in telecom device distribution, the medical sector and industry, run by Saudi hands from the first day.

A pioneering step
Assr Group is founded in Riyadh with Assr AlJawal, its telecom distribution arm, betting early that the mobile phone would change daily life for every Saudi family.

A Gulf-wide network
Distribution expands beyond the Kingdom into the UAE, Oman, Bahrain and Qatar: warehouses, van fleets and thousands of points of sale, with Modern Distribution driving prepaid services, digital distribution and electronic collection at home.

Beyond telecom
Over the years, Assr Group expanded beyond telecom distribution into healthcare, after-sales services, technology manufacturing, and industrial production. Today, the Group’s companies contribute across medical technologies, customer care, localized network-device manufacturing, steel production, metal fabrication, and specialized industrial solutions, strengthening local capabilities and supporting Saudi Arabia’s economic transformation.
